After three days on the Camino, today offers a break from walking and a chance to experience Pamplona during San Fermín—one of Spain’s most celebrated cultural festivals.
For early risers, the morning begins with the opportunity to witness the festival’s legendary Running of the Bulls (Encierro), held at 8:00 a.m. Watching is entirely optional, and guests may choose to experience the event from a designated spectator area or simply enjoy a slower start to the morning.
Spend the day immersed in the traditions and unmistakable energy of San Fermín. Explore streets filled with music and celebration, encounter traditional processions and performances, sample regional food and drink, and experience Pamplona as it transforms for its most famous festival.
Beyond the festivities, take time to discover Pamplona’s historic center, from its medieval streets and lively plazas to the cathedral, city walls, cafés, and landmarks along the Camino. The day is yours to experience the city and festival at your own pace.
As evening approaches, we recommend enjoying a relaxed evening and a good night’s rest. Tomorrow, we return to the Camino and continue our journey on foot toward Puente la Reina.
