What is the cancellation policy? Cancellations must be submitted in writing. A $150 non-refundable administrative fee applies from the day of registration forward, along with any airline fees. Additional penalties increase as departure approaches:
Travel protection covers 100% of cancellation penalties if the premium is paid by the final payment date and the cancellation reason is insurable.
What is the physical activity level? Is this trip accessible to everyone? This is an active trip. Many of the biblical and archaeological sites involve walking on cobblestone streets, climbing steps, and navigating uneven terrain. Guests who require oxygen, wheelchairs, or other mobility assistance will find the tour significantly limiting, as many sites are not accessible to those with physical challenges. Please contact April before registering if you have any mobility concerns so we can discuss what is and is not feasible.
What passport and documentation do I need? A valid U.S. passport is required. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date of September 18, 2027 — meaning it should not expire before March 18, 2028. Depending on your nationality, visas or travel authorizations may be required. These are not included in the package price. April can advise you on what applies to your specific situation.
Are gratuities included? Cruise gratuities are not included in the package price and will be charged separately. For guided tours, the suggested amount is $6 per person per day for the guide and $3 per person per day for the driver. Tipping is always at your discretion.
What are my airfare options? Can I book my own flights? Airfare from Atlanta is included in the package price. The tour operator (ETS) selects the airline and flight times, which will be confirmed no later than May 2027. You can earn frequent flyer miles on the chosen airline but cannot use points for payment. If you prefer to book your own international flights, you receive a $1,198 per person reduction from the package price — but you will be responsible for your own airport transfers. Please speak with April before making that decision.
What children's policies apply? The tour operator (ETS) does not allow children under the age of 13. Anyone under 18 must travel with a parent or legal guardian. There are no discounted rates for children. The cruise line may have additional age-related restrictions that apply separately.
